It is a fact that more and more people have heart diseases nowadays than a decade ago. Most people blame it on the diet, while others blame it on the lifestyle. I think it’s because of both. Because of the convenience of canned goods and fast foods, people risk themselves not just of heart diseases but of diabetes and other illnesses as well. And since most people work in offices just sitting the whole day in the computer, they deprive themselves of getting enough exercise their bodies need.
No wonder why even the smallest hospitals all over the world now have ecg machines. I could remember the time when people who have heart problems have to go to bigger cities and hospitals for a simple check up. Medical institutions have to be equipped with these kinds of machines to cater to the need of the people. It is good that our hospitals have this equipment—but I say there has to be more information dissemination in keeping our hearts healthy. Because heart matters matter!
