Most of the speakers you may have seen are cabled. That means wired. In order for the sound to travel from the source and out to the speakers there must be some way, and that is through the wires. Technology, though, has made way to wireless speakers. Instead of the cables or wires, though, there are two units: the RF (radio frequency) transmitter and receiver. From the transmitter, the waves are sent to the receiver without the limit of the cables. You can place the receiver anywhere from 150 to 300 feet away, depending on the particular unit. This is very useful when using outdoors like a street dance party.
